Rony
Hi, I’m the founder and director of Step Beyond Tutoring.
I started Step Beyond with a simple goal: to provide high-quality, results-driven mathematics support for students in Years 7 to 12.
With a background in actuarial studies and education, I built this centre on strong academic foundations, structured problem-solving, and a genuine focus on student confidence. While I no longer tutor personally, I lead the academic direction of the centre, oversee curriculum standards, and mentor our tutoring team to ensure every student receives exceptional support.
At Step Beyond Tutoring, we specialise in:

Our tutors are carefully selected, trained, and aligned with the centre's values. We focus not only on improving grades but also on developing clarity, confidence, and independent thinking.

Maria
Maria is the friendly first point of contact at Step Beyond Tutoring. She helps families with enquiries, bookings, and scheduling, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Marco
Marco tutors Mathematics from primary school through to Year 12, including Extension 1 and Extension 2.
He achieved an ATAR of 98.60 and Band 6 results across multiple HSC subjects, including 95 in Mathematics Extension 1 and 95 in Mathematics Extension 2. His academic performance reflects both technical strength and consistency under exam conditions.
Marco is currently studying Actuarial Studies, a degree known for its mathematical rigour and analytical depth. This allows him to bring advanced problem-solving skills and structured reasoning into every lesson.
Students working with Marco can expect:

• Strong focus on exam technique and maximising marks
• Development of logical thinking and mathematical confidence

Marco is particularly strong in helping high-achieving students push into Band 6 and E4 ranges, while also being patient and clear with students who need foundational support.
Jonathan
Jonathan tutors Mathematics from primary school through to Year 12, including Extension 1 and Extension 2.
He achieved outstanding HSC results, scoring 91 in Mathematics Extension 1 and 90 in Mathematics Extension 2, demonstrating strong advanced mathematical ability and exam performance.
Jonathan is currently studying Mechatronics Engineering, a highly technical degree that combines mathematics, physics, electronics, and mechanical systems. This background allows him to connect mathematical theory to real-world engineering applications, helping students understand not just how formulas work, but why they work.
