Rony

Hi, I’m the founder of Step Beyond Tutoring. I’m an actuary by profession since 2022 – which means I work with mathematics, statistics, and problem-solving (the degree itself has one of the highest ATAR cut-offs at 97.10). This background has given me a deep understanding of maths and its real-world applications, which I now bring into my tutoring.

I’m also completing my Education Degree, which means I combine technical expertise with teaching skills to help students not only improve their grades but also build confidence and enjoy learning.

I currently tutor Mathematics (Years 7–12), with a focus on:

  • Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus

  • Extension Maths and Exam Preparation

  • Building strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills

Over the years, I’ve helped students of all levels – from those struggling to keep up in class to high achievers aiming for top ATAR scores – and I know that with the right support, every student can succeed.

Interesting fact: Outside of tutoring, I love travelling, hikes, and building Lego – which probably isn’t surprising for someone who lives and breathes maths!
